Bottega delle Antiche Terme is an atelier located in the city's ancient heart, just opposite Piazzetta del Limbo, a central and yet unusually secluded little place that magically exudes an atmosphere of silence and beauty. This was the site of the ancient Roman bath and then, in 1862 the charming building was home to the modern city's public baths. Now, on the ground floor, Simone Abbarchi makes custom-made men's shirts using the finest linens and Egyptian cottons. The wide selection of collars, cuffs and both classic and Australian mother-of-pearl buttons can suit every customer's tastes and needs. The de rigueur monograms are, naturally, hand embroidered.
