The foundation, boasts an incredible quantity of documentary materials on the career of the great Roman designer who has maintained close ties with Florence ever since his 1951 debut at the first Italian high fashion show at the home of Marchese Giorgini.

His works on shape and colors have often led to comparisons with sculpture and painting.
This considerable corpus will be displayed according to themes that will highlight the various conceptual aspects of his work and will also include details on the actual dressmaking work.
In addition to offering the public a full overview of this extraordinary career, the foundation's aim is to relaunch the Italian tradition of fine craftsmanship and sophisticated research in style, combined with a recovery of outstanding quality of Italian fashions.
