It is quite appropriate to call Giancarlo Parri a child of the trade. In 1956 after having served as an apprentice in some of the finest fashion ateliers in Florence, he officially began working with his mother Anna who founded the by now historic fashion house in 1936. Along with his wife, Vanna, and now their daughter, Simona, he creates entirely custom-made collections for women. Each garment is rigorously hand detailed and finished according to the old maxim that "you can tell the quality of a dress by looking on the inside." It is this care along with creativity and the ability to fulfill the customers' requirements that make for the unique styling and perfect fit which characterize all Parri clothes.
