This workshop has been making travel bags, handbags, belts, billfolds and many other accessories with the Il Bisonte imprint for nearly forty years. Wanny Di Filippo who owns the workshop chose the great, free bison to represent the firm. The items are all made of vacchetta, a natural, vegetable tanned hide that, in addition to being strong and durable, becomes softer and more beautiful with age, acquiring the patina and values that only time can bring. From totally craft beginnings, production is now on an artisan-industrial scale and Wanni – who loves his work – continues to design and create the collections.
