Antonio and Luigi - hence the name Liverano & Liverano. Antonio is the younger of the two. When he was a child, after school he would do whip stitching, basting ,and other little tasks for a tailor in his home town of Palagiano (Taranto). At eleven years of age he came to Florence to join his brother, Luigi, who was attending the “Università dello Stile” to become a tailor. And that was the beginning of Liverano & Liverano, where – according to the strictest rules of the craft and using the finest quality materials – distinctive men’s suits are born. Antonio calls the look “Florentine style”. The jackets only have a single dart; the shoulders are soft and natural; the seams are all backstitched; the sleeves are straight and crease-free; and the edges are softly shaped. A collection of hand sewn silk ties in three different styles, and custom-made shirts in the finest cottons for their elegant clientele complement the suits and jackets.
