Stefano Bemer
1983: Stefano Bemer, a native of Greve in Chianti, opened his first shoe-repair shop. He was motivated, enthusiastic and self-taught. Four years later, he moved to Florence and learned shoemaking with the help of a master craftsman and took a course in design and pattern-making.
Today, the Bemer name is known worldwide and it has two distinct and complementary souls. One is custom-made shoes and the other is a ready-to-wear shoe collection sold in Japan (with the opening of the first single-brand store), the United States, Russia, all of Europe and, of course, Italy. Stefano Bemer men's shoes are made of the finest skins (natural, vegetable-tanned leather) and are admired for perfect craftsmanship, excellent fit and comfort. They are made to last: indeed, they can be taken apart and reassembled 4 or 5 times), and are favorites among the jet set and many European and Italian noblemen.
